1. Sussmann Mondschein, born 1786 in Hoof. He married Hendel Goldschmidt, born 1790. Sussmann and Hendel Plaut Mondschein had four children:

SECOND GENERATION :
2. Samuel Mondschein, born about 1813 in Hoof. He married first on 26.07.1842 in Hoof Betti Berg, born 15.11.1815 in Warburg, daughter of Markus Berg. Samuel and Betti Mondschein had three children:

8. Salli Mondschein, born 01.07.1847 in Hoof, he died on 15.08.1847 in Hoof
Betti Mondschein died on 02.01.1848 in Hoof. Samuel Mondschein married a second time Henriette Wolfstein, born on 02.09. 1826 in Koerbecke, daughter of Joseph Wolfstein and his wife Caroline, née Maienthal. Samuel and Henriette Mondschein had a son:

12. Isaac Mondschein, born 09.04.1854 in Hoof.
Henriette Mondschein, née Wolfstein married a second time on 17.09.1856 Feist Hirsch Gumbert, born 30.03.1830 in Hoof. (Thiele, a.a.O., p.409)
3. Minna Minkel Mondschein, born in 1815 in Hoof. She was married on 12.08.1835 to Salomon Israel, born in March 1806 in Zierenberg, son of Heinemann Salomon Israel and his wife Schoenchen Mansbach. Minna Minke and Salomon Israel lived in Zierenberg, they had nine children:

4. Herz Mondschein, born 17.02.1820 in Hoof. He married first Jette Steinberg, born on 17.03.1827 in Volkmarsen. Herz and Jette Mondschein had a daughter:

Jette Mondschein died on 26.01.1850 at the age of 23 years in Hoof. Herz Mondschein married a second time on 16.02.1851 in Nentershausen Pauline Heilbrunn, born 26.04.1826 in Nentershausen, daughter of Salomon Heilbrunn and his wife Lea, née Stern. Herz and Pauline Mondschein had a son:
23. stillborn, male, 06.12.1851 in Hoof.
Herz Mondschein died before 1855 at the age of 35 years. Pauline Mondschein died on 03.11.1888 at the age of 62 years in Frankershausen (Berkatal).
5. Daniel / David Mondschein, born 14. or 26.06.1826 in Hoof. He married on 23.08.1854 Johanna Blank, born 13.04.1830 in Hemmendorf, daughter of David Blank and his wife Friederike, née Gans. Daniel and Johanna Mondschein had four children:

26. Mathilde Mondschein, born 26.08.1862 in Hoof, she died on 21.09.1863

Daniel Mondschein died in March 1881 in Kassel. Johanna died on 25.10.1901 in Kassel (Thiele, a.a.O., p. 270).
THIRD GENERATION :
7. Emilia Mondschein, born 01.04.1845 in Hoof, she was married on 25.10.1865 to Ephraim Moses Gumbert, born 24.03.1833 in Hoof, son of Moses Gumbert and his wife Frommet, née Tobias. Emilia and Ephraim Moses Gumbert had eleven children.
15. Victor Fiedor Israel, born 30.09.1839 in Zierenberg. He married on 26.02.1867 Julchen Zuckerberg, born 28.07.1844 in Lamerden, daughter of Simon Zuckerberg and his wife Jeanette, née Birnbaum (Thiele, a.a.O., p. 429).
16. Abraham Israel, born 12.09.1841 in Zierenberg, he married on 03.03.1867 Schoenchen / Jeanette Rosenberg, born 12.01.1843 in Niedermeiser, daughter of Joseph Rosenberg and his wife Marianne, née Gans (Thiele, a.a.O., p. 427)
18. Sarchen Israel, born 15.02.1846 in Zierenberg, she was married on 12.01.1870 in Zierenberg to Moses Schartenberg. Sarchen Schartenberg died on 21.03.1921 in Zierenberg.
20. David Israel, born 30.09.1850 in Zierenberg, he married on 24.05.1876 in Zierenberg Hannchen Goldschmidt.
25. Emma Mondschein, born 21.01.1861 in Hoof. She was married on 05.05.1886 to Louis Oberdorff, Konkursberater, born on 04.11.1857 in Mehle/Hannover, son of David Oberdorff and his wife Henriette née Raphael. (Thiele, a.a.O.,p.463) Emma and Louis Oberdorff lived in Kassel since 02.10.1901 in Moltkestrasse 7, since 26.09.1913 in Hohenzollernstrasse 7. They had two daughters:

+ 29. Mary Rosi Oberdorff, born 18.01.1897 in Kassel (Thiele, a.a.O.,p 142)
Louis Oberdorff died on 25.06.1919 in Kassel (Thiele, a.a.O., p. 306). Emma Oberdorff had to move on 03.02.1939 into Mombachstrasse 17. She was deported on 07.09.1942 from Kassel to Theresienstadt and murdered there on 04.04.1944. (Gedenkbuch Kassel, a.a.O., p. 141)
FOURTH GENERATION :
29. Mary Rosy Oberdorff, born 18.01.1897 in Kassel. She was married on 25.01.1922 in Kassel to Siegfried Reich, born 15.05.1895 in Hamburg ( Thiele, a.a.O., p. 548). Mary Rosi and Siegfried Reich had three daughters:

31. Leonore Reich, born 18.06.1926 in Kassel (Thiele, a.a.O., p. 187)

30. Helga Reich, born 30.07.1923 in Kassel, she emigrated on 14.12.1936 into the USA (Thiele, a.a.O..p. 713).
32. Ursula Reich, born 06.07.1930 in Kassel. She was married to Keith Steinhardt, born about 1922, son of Moritz Steinhardt. Ursula and Keith Steinhardt live in Australia.
